‘Weight’ is the internationally accepted norm for the work done by the teacher and the student. 1 credit corresponds to varying hours of contact per week over 15 weeks depending on the subject (major/non-major)/faculty of student /year of study /practical/ lecture
EVALUATION
Evaluation of students is based on both Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) and End Semester Assessment ( ESA)
The distribution of weight-age between the CIA and ESA is 40:60
A student will be permitted to appear for the End Semester Examinations provided he/she has completed the CIA requirement of test / assignment / project work etc., certified by the department concerned.
The End Semester Examinations will be in the form of a comprehensive written / computer-based / practical examination for each course held at the end of each semester.
Minimum pass percentage for CIA and ESA is 40%
AWARD OF DEGREE
The Final Degree is awarded by the parent University (Osmania University)
The name of the College will be mentioned in the Degree certificate
